Owh " Canon PowerShot SX30.." I Really Want You..

I really want this Canon PowerShot SX30..!!
But why..? Let's read my story.. ^_^

I have a friend who are from a rich family. One day, we go for a holiday at Cameron Highland.  As we know, Cameron Highland have many nice view. So, my friend bring her Digital SLR camera to take a picture as many as we can.  However, I never have a great camera like her. So, she ask me to try to use her camera. For my first time, I was use a Digital SLR camera. Oh my God, it was my best experience. The pictures that I capture from that camera was so beautiful. I ask her, what model of this camera, and she told me, it is PowerShot SX30.

So when I'm back home, I do a research about it. And information that I got about this camera, it has a very high performance that boasts a 24mm ultra-wide, 35x optical zoom lens. This Canon PowerShot SX30 is so PERFECT for use in any situation. The PowerShot SX30 is provides full manual control, HD movie recording and a number of creative and automatic shooting modes – delivering  as much or as little creative assistance as desired. Other design features, including a 6.8cm (2.7”) vari-angle LCD screen and hot shoe, it also allow users to extend their creativity by shooting from different angles and with a range of compatible Canon accessories.

So, starting from now I will try to collect my money to buy this special PowerShot SX30..^_^

TOSHIBA SATELLITE L645 -The Best Lappy Ever..!!

When I become a university student, I already have my own laptop.  And I prefer for Toshiba Satellite L645. There are four colors available. Metallic Gray, Modena Red, Maroon Brown, and Snowy White. And for me, Metallic Gray is the best choice. I got it around RM2,000++ with my first PTPTN money. Hehe.. ^_^

So now, let me share with you about it..  Enjoy your self.. :)

Firstly, I want to share with you about some of the key features in this Toshiba Satellite L645 series. It is Stunning Design, Multi Touch Pad With Gesture Support (YEAHH!!! its finally there now), Power Saving Eco Utility (Battery can last longer), Toshiba Bulletin Board and Reel Time (New softwares for our easy usage and help us stay organized).

And some additional options.

Next, on the left, we got Headphone Jack, Microphone Jack, USB 2.0 Port, eSata + USB Combo port, HDMI Port, Ethernet Jack, ventilation holes, sealed modem port, and kensington lock. So, the USB ports has moved to the left now, leaving the right side with only 1 USB port (previously two).

On the right, we got the power socket, VGA Out port, USB 2.0 Port, and the DVD-RW Super Multi Double Layer.

Touchpad area is bigger now, and the buttons are strikingly metallic. One of the design that stands out.

Towards the lower part of the keyboard, Satellite is printed, and the keyboard is surrounded by Black Glossy frame which is so elegant.

And Touchpad is controllable by using Fn combination button and also there is now an additional button on top of the touch pad.

Keyboard is glossy, normal size, and put near together. Do not really like this keyboard design though, and perhaps Toshiba shall use Chiclet keyboard in Satellite series too. Chiclet keyboards are more comfortable and easier to use.

Power button is pretty simple rounded, without any LEDs backlit. Surrounded by black glossy textured frame, together with the speaker on the left and right.

Speaker is LOUDER in this Satellite L645. Yeahh you read that? LOUDER. That’s what we want from our lappy. Bravo! and look at that design. All glossy black. Very bold.

Toshiba Satellite L645.. Let's read it.. ^_^

Processor:

This Toshiba Satellite L645-S4102 is powered by Intel Pentium P6200 processor that is clocked at 2.13 GHz. It has Smart Cache of 3 MB capacity.

System Memory:
This laptop comes with 4 GB DDR3 RAM 1066 MHz and this RAM is arranged in slots.

Hard Drive:
Its comes with 500GB HDD which spins at 5400 rpm.

Display:
The screen size of this laptop is 14.0-inches and the resolution is 1366 x 768 pixel at 16:9 aspect ratio. Its display type is HD TruBrite LED Backlit and supports 720p content successfully.

Optical Drive:
This laptop comes with an optical drive DVD-SuperMulti and this drive can Read and Write CDs and DVDs with Labelflash drive.

Graphics Engine:
Its got Mobile Intel HD Graphics which has 64 MB-1696 dynamically allocated shared video graphics memory.

Inputs and Controls:
This laptop is arranged with touch pad pointing device with multi touch control facility. This laptop is credited with a Premium US keyboard (black). Its touch pad has a facility of on/off too.

Security:
Its comes with Security Cable Lock Slot, HDD recovery, Toshiba Supervisor Password Utility and password Security.

Operating system:
This laptop is supplied with Genuine Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Edition.

Wireless LAN
Its comes with Wi-Fi Wireless networking 802.11 b/g/n.

LAN
This laptop also provide with 10/100 Ethernet LAN

Built-in Devices:
This laptop is arranged with built-in standard stereo speakers. Also, it has one webcam built into the LCD bezel.

Additional Ports:
Its comes with Memory Card Reader, two USB 2.0 ports, one eSATA/USB combo. One headphone jack and one microphone jack.

Battery:
This laptop is arranged with one 6-cell Lithium-ion battery which can offer 5.03-hours battery life for the notebook.

Yeah.. Thats it.. a part of my lovely lappy.. Perfect..!!

CSL Blueberry a9500 -My Lovely Phone

On 5 January 2011, I have bought a new handphone, CSL Blueberry a9500 Model with only RM599. That looked like a good bargain considering the various functions bundled into the “Blackberry look-a-like but is certainly not” phone.

So, what to expect with CSL’s Blueberry? The best thing that I got for RM599 was these:-

• §  2 Sim Card slots (easier if I am travelling overseas)
• §  Wi-fi (save up on GPRS cost when free wi-fi is available)
• §  GPRS
• §  TV Receiver (local analog TV, not Astro)
• §  Radio Receiver
• §  Free 2GB microSD card
• §  MSN, Yahoo IM ability
• §  PDF reader
• §  Facebook, Twitter ability
• §  Google Map (works wonder when wi-fi is available)
• §  QWERTY keypad
• §  Trackball 

That is the best thing about this phone. There are some shortcomings but I am not complaining considering the price of the phone (cheap means less functionality, less graphical experience, less web experience). CSL claims that it is a Malaysian company and Blueberry is a Malaysian made phone but there is plenty of room for improvement, namely:-

CSL Blueberry is NOT iPhone or Blackberry or other high end smartphones in the market. But given the price (for a brand new phone), it gets most of the job done– with Wi-Fi and Java programs.

This is how I setup the Wifi on Blueberry 9500:- 

•  Click on the icon listed as “WLAN“
•  Click on “Enable WLAN” to enable wifi connections
•   Click on “Search for networks” to check on available networks (if it is secured, then you need to setup the security details in “Access point settings“)
•   Pick the network that you want to connect, click on “Options” and press on “Connect“
•  You are now connected to the Internet (to avoid connection through GPRS, I disable GPRS using “Settings” > “Network setup” > “SIM1 network setup” > “Preferred mode” and pick “WLAN only” or “WLAN preferred“)

Easy right? Let's try it with CSL Blueberry a9500.. ^_^
